As a Solution Engineer you will predominantly work with our clients and support the implementation of SynerScope’s products.

You are a team player with a positive attitude and you need to be fluent in Dutch and have a good command of the English language. The position is based in Helvoirt. We have a policy of working in the office as much as possible, taking into account the RIVM regulations (due to Covid-19).

You will wrangle data, perform and present the results of analysis and train and support end users to do the same. Besides working with our clients, you also provide technical support to marketing and sales. This means you will demonstrate SynerScope’s solutions to prospects, at events and support proof-of-concept and proof-of-value projects. Together with your fellow engineers, you will help well-known organizations in financial services, critical infrastructure and other industries to get the most out of SynerScope’s products.

We create new visions and next-generation solutions by working with multiple kinds and massive amounts of structured and unstructured data at the same time.

We were founded in 2011 and are now in the phase of scaling up towards a full breed company. We’re VC financed and have a start-up mentality combined with scale up phasing.

We are located in a stylish historic building in Helvoirt near ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

We are looking for

An engineer with consulting experience but a consultant with technical experience can also apply. In a client environment you have a natural curiosity to quickly understand the nature of their business and an eye for new opportunities to leverage their data assets. You understand and can explain to others everything related to cutting edge analytics. You are comfortable in wrangling raw data into something useable using tools such as SQL, Python, and Spark. You work just as well in a team as on your own.

We are developing our brand new state of the art Product that will be Azure native and leverages all of our IPs, (customer) experience and skills.

As a solution engineer you are also a very important stakeholder to our development team and it is very likely you will have an active QA role and delegated PO role in the development of our new product.

What you bring

You have a degree in Computer/Information Science or another relevant technical field. Alternatively, you have a degree in Business Administration (MBA or similar) with demonstrable technical skills. You must have a strong grasp of data wrangling using SQL and Python. Certification of DP20X will be an advantage.

Microsoft Fundamentals AZ900 is pre requisite for this job. For a professional this will be an entry level test which will take no more than 1 hour of learning. By suitability you are able to obtain this requirement in your probationary period but if you fail, this is a reason for termination of the contract.

You have organizational skills such as project- and time management. You like presenting and teaching your knowledge to others, and you can do so fluently in English and Dutch.

You must have a driver’s license and be willing to travel to clients in the Netherlands, and occasionally international if required.
